I went from Dallas to Sydney for office work. It started when we had to order some supplies for our office. the delivery boy, sham, told us that he was a student there and knows every nook and corner of the city. During our discussion, I expressed the desire to see Sydney and its surrounding tourist locations. He said he could help as he also wanted to go with his girlfriend but was out of money (study expenses!). So we agreed to help each other out. It was decided that we will pay for this trip and he (along with girlfriend) will be our tour guide for some days. Although we visited many places there, I will mention here only one day when I had to cook!

Our Journey
Sydney is the most populous city in Australia and is the capital of New South Wales. There are too many things to see here. People here come from various backgrounds and cultures. Some come here for travel and enjoyment purposes and some for business.

Since we had limited time (as we can only go out on Sundays, remember we were here for job!), we decided that we will start early and would try to visit as many places as we could. Matt came to us early in morning and we went on to pick up his girlfriend who was also studying in University of Sydney. We were introduced as friends (none of us is over 40).
Locals here travel mostly by cars using freeways known as motorways. The Metroads are the most important routes, they include the 110 km Sydney Orbital Network and are nine in number. Other modes of transportation include train, taxi, bus etc.

Sydney Aquarium

Our first stop was Sydney Aquarium, one of the fun places to visit. It is a public aquarium which is on the eastern side of Darling Harbour. Sydney Aqarium is home to large variety of aquatic animals. The main attractions of the aquarium are underwater glass tunnels where you can see the sharks swimming above your head.

Next stop was the Taronga Zoo. Here we saw the Kangaroos!!! It was a great experience and everybody enjoyed a lot.

Accident and Dallas DWI attorney’s call

Once we were done touring, we were planning to go home and right there we got a call from a DWI attorney Dallas about an accident of our acquaintances and that he was charged with a DWI case. We contacted some of our friends in Dallas immediately and handed the matter so that he can be defended in court. He told us his side of the story. According to him, he was driving back home from work when he hit something on the road due to which he lost control and he hit a tree on road side. He was charged with DWI but since he passed the breathalyzer test he was set free. We all heaved a sigh of relief.

Once again every body was in joyous mood. But as soon as we started off again we had a flat tyre. Every body was hungry, so we decided to have our lunch. Camps were set up on the road side and we started preparing tea for every one. It was a healthy tea also called as “fitness tea” or otherwise known as “yogi tea”. It is known to have detoxifying effects, helps in metabolism and weight loss.

Google SEO Lecture by Matt

Meanwhile, Matt (one of our colleagues) had started his usual educational program on google SEO. Since everyone was free so we listened to it with keen interest as he told us about a SEO company in India working on internet marketing projects. It was really helpful for the webmasters among us. He also gave us some tips for google SEO. We enjoyed the lecture with “healthy tea”.

Even though we had troubles earlier but with God’s grace everything was fine later. It was a trip worth remembering.

Yoga as a Form of Exercise

What can Yoga do for you!

What is Yoga and where does it come from?
Yoga is a type of meditative exercise that has roots in the Far East religious traditions Buddhism, Hinduism, etc. Today, many people have dropped the religious aspects of this art of the body and simply practice yoga techniques for health benefits.

Benefits of Yoga
The various stretches and strength building exercises done in yoga can build muscles, increase flexibility, and help you burn fat. Yoga can also be used in conjunction with traditional Western forms of exercise. In fact by combining yoga with cardiovascular and weight training you can help your body be the healthiest it can possibly be.

More Energy from doing Yoga
Yoga is traditionally seen as a routine of exercises that will rejuvenate the body. Although yoga is a difficult workout it should make you energized as opposed to draining your body and making your feel tired. When pairing yoga with other forms of exercise do yoga first. Many people like to use yoga as a way to warm up the muscles before running, lifting weights etc. Warming up is an important step, and yoga is a great way to do this.

Breathing Techniques
Yoga can also teach breathing to prepare you for other exercises. In yoga classes, students must often learn breathing techniques that help calm the spirit and focus the mind. These techniques allow you to breathe fully, allowing more oxygen to reach your brain and other parts of your body. By practicing yoga, you will be able to do cardiovascular exercises for a longer period of time, since you will not be so quickly out of breath.

Flexibility in Yoga
Because yoga helps you increase flexibility, this can also help you prevent injuries when doing other forms of exercise or when playing sports. Many athletes learn early on to stretch their muscles before a game or practice-yoga can be viewed as an entire exercise regimen focused on stretching muscles. It also helps minimize and prevent injuries because yoga allows you to find your limits. This is important when practicing any sort of physical activity.

Yoga has many benefits when practiced by it self or as part of a program and if what you’ve read above interests you why not try it for yourself?
